Astrologer shares May horoscope predictions for Taurus, Gemini and more

May is a poignant month for astrological events. The Eta Aquariid meteor shower, which has been active since April 19, peaks between midnight and dawn on Monday, May 5. Royal Museums Greenwich notes a predicted rate of up to 40 meteors per hour on May 5, though the shower continues until May 28.

Horoscopes are a form of astrology, providing interpretations based on the positions of celestial bodies at the time of a person’s birth or another significant event. Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk on behalf of Genting Casino, Inbaal Honigman notes that “no planets at all are in retrograde” at the beginning of May: “Every single planet is going direct, which creates an air of focus and achievement”, she said. After May 4, Pluto goes retrograde, which can create a certain amount of shifts and changes, but the rest of the Solar System is still bravely charging forward, notes the psychic.

Inbaal said, “This makes May 2025 a great month to dream big. If you’ve struggled to write that book proposal, tackle the laundry pile, or create an extraordinary job application, do it this May. Because now, nothing is going to stand in your way.”

Aries
